Deputy Sheriff: Law Enforcement
Annual Base Pay (current as of June 2025)
$87,935.90 - $140,423.40Additional pay incentives and premiums are available for those who are eligible.
- Intermediate POST - 5%
- Advanced POST - 13.5%
- Up to $8,000 relocation allowance for out-of-county applicants
Deputy Sheriff: Detentions/Court Services
Annual Base Pay (current as of June 2025)
$85,306.00 - $120,157.70Additional pay incentives and premiums are available for those who are eligible.
- Education Premium - 5% with 4 years in sworn class
- Up to $8,000 relocation allowance for out-of-county applicants
Deputy Sheriff: Lateral
Annual Base Pay (current as of June 2025)
$87,935.90 - $140,423.40
Additional pay incentives and premiums are available for those who are eligible.
- Intermediate POST - 5%
- Advanced POST - 13.5%
- New Hire Lateral pay incentive of up to $20,000
- Specialized Positions, most come with 5% - 12.5% premium
- 42.5 Hours of vacation time granted for eligible lateral hires
- Up to $15,000 relocation allowance for out-of-county applicants
